TMI Tuesday this week was about piercings. I thought the subject deserved a full blown post. (Or two) My first genital piercing was done in about 1997, it was the first piece of body modification, aside from a single earring from high school, and remained my only one for about 5 years. It passes transversely under the skin on my shaft, a half inch below the head of my cock, called a frenum piercing because it goes under that sensitive little ridge of skin on a man called the frenulum. Initially, I got it pierced at a 12 gauge, and have worn various styles of curved barbells, rings and straight barbells through it. A well sized captive bead ring can be nice in that spot, as the ball will flip up and put pressure between the head of my cock and the inside wall of a vagina (or hand, as the case may be) which was my primary reason for getting it done, as well as a bit of rebellion against the establishment. For the last few months I have worn a straight bar, 10 gauge, 5/8 of an inch long, which makes a snug fit, so that just the two balls, each 3/16th of an inch are exposed. It doesn’t add a whole lot to sexual stimulation like this, but is very well behaved, and quite discreet. Having it pierced was a huge adrenaline and endorphin rush, and not very painful, followed by a very easy healing. I have had two other piercings done in the same area, both just a bit above the current one, going for an effect called a frenum ladder. Both rejected, the first after a thread from a pair of boxers tangled around the piercing and pulled, causing some damage, and starting an infection about three days into the healing. I tried to keep it in, and get it to heal, but it started “rising up,” which is the process the body goes through pushing a foreign object from under the skin closer and closer to the surface. I took it out before it got all the way out, and the end result is a quarter inch or so hole in the very thinnest part of my frenulum. Later I had another ring placed under the spot where that one had been, but it started to do the same thing. The effect of this piercing during sex has been mostly positive, I’ve had it a long time, and shared it with quite a few partners, some preferred intercourse with it in, a few didn’t. The feedback I got was that it made me feel a bit bigger, and the difference in friction sensations was very noticable in some positions and angles. Sometimes the skin over the bar can get a bit chaffed during longer rougher sex, thats a downside! When I play with myself I can adjust the stroke to pull on the piercing just right, or if theres a ring in it, press the ball into the head of my cock, very effective Almost a year ago I decided to have another piercing done.
