Almost a year ago I decided to get another piercing “down there.” This was in the midst of the dark days of the separation from Zizz, I think I wanted to make some sort of “I am my own man” statement, and I was so used to the other one that it had become just another part of me. Probably also a bit of self-punishment there, but lets not dive too deeply into that topic now…

The new one goes down my urethra, and comes out through the front side of the head. This piercing is commonly called a Prince Albert, and the process was more painful than the other times a needle has passed through my dick. Before that actual moment there are a dozen times where you second guess yourself – is this really what I want? I can go home right now. I’m paying a hundred bucks for this? What if something goes REALLY wrong? and then suddenly its too late, you’re sitting on a piece of tissue paper on the edge of a table and the thickest needle you’ve ever seen is an inch away from your most sensitive organ. The pain passes amazingly quickly though, its not like road rash, or carpet burn which goes on stinging for days, within hours its a dull thing, and a day or two after it only hurts when bumped funny, or twisted.

The theory is that because of the amazing blood supply to the tissue it goes through, and the frequent washing with urine, (I know, ick, but hey, its natural…) this a very simple piercing to heal, and it certainly healed faster than my other ones. A 10 gauge is standard for starting in that spot, about the size of a bic pen ink cartridge, and usually a captive bead ring is used. The hole in the middle of my ring is a half inch inside diameter, which makes it fit fairly snugly when I am erect. As soon as it healed I started stretching it up to bigger gauges. I think they look better, and, like guitar strings, bigger gauges are more comfortable. The larger area spreads pressure around, basically they are less “sharp,” but more noticeable. It currently is up to a 4 gauge ring, which is about as big around as a macaroni noodle, a real one, not one of those wimpy Kraft mac-n-cheese ones. At that thickness there is almost no discernible pulling on the hole during sex or masturbation, but some very pleasant sensations The ring I have in now is called a seamless, or segment ring, in other words there is no ball or bead on it, it is just a continuous loop, the same thickness all around, with a segment that can be pulled out if the ring is flexed open with a pair of special pliers.

K, regarding your comment on my last post… I have lost a few balls over the years, always from barbells, but never in a coochie! The balls screw in with tiny threads that are easy to strip if you tighten them with pliers, but hard to get tight with fingers. Once you get them right they tend to stay tight though. The captive bead rings are much easier to deal with.

The boxer short incident was actually awful! I used to walk to lunch with some people from the office, and it happened about half a mile from the restaurant. I didn’t realize exactly what was going on, wasn’t about to share my dilemma with the folks I was with, no places to make a bathroom stop and check it out, so there was nothing to do but walk on. I lost interest in piercings for a few years after that! I can’t remember any other time they have gotten caught on anything, its pretty hard to imagine, they are made with no sharp edges for a darned good reason!

There will be at least one more post to follow on this subject, I can’t quit without telling you the good news, but you probably need some time to get the mental images of needles out of your head!
