Buttons identified so far…
Money: My finances are now my own. I pay a fixed amount to Zizz to ensure a mutually equitable standard of living. I live within my means. I do as much banking by automated mechanisms as possible. I refuse to hide from money issues any longer. I refuse to blame anyone else for my financial difficulties. I have a savings account, a 401k, a big car payment, and decent credit.
Guilt:I hereby give Zizz absolution for everything I have held in account to date. Our slate is clean. I will give myself the same reprieve. I will act with honor, for I am honorable.
Stress: I drive a new, warrentied, insured, fully legal car. This makes me happy, the reduction in stress is worth the car payment. I perform my job better when it is not stressfull. It rarely has to be stressfull, especially if I am performing my duties well. I endeavor to be more like my mentor, and less like [insert name of stressed out bitch ex-boss here.] I will use my vacation days to manage my stress levels. If my job starts to affect my happiness, I will rectify the situation however appropriate, up to, and including taking a dump on the bosses desk and walking out.
Cleaning: I have full responsibility for my own space. It is a neat old house, but it takes a TON of upkeep, Lovely doesn’t help. I could hire someone to do it, or do it myself. Cleaning is rewarding in and of itself if you have time, so make time. A clean house is soothing, a dirty house is a trigger for my stress.
